AI/ML Engineer
Location: Remote / Hybrid (India-based preferred)
Type: Internship / Part-time / Full-time (based on availability)
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and curious AI/ML Engineer who can turn data into intelligence. You will be responsible for building, training, and optimizing machine learning models that power Vislona’s AI products. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly impact user experience and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for real-world use cases (e.g., image recognition, NLP, recommendation, scoring systems).
Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to feed ML pipelines.
Research and experiment with the latest ML algorithms and tools.
Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams to integrate models into production systems via APIs.
Monitor and improve model performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.
Optimize models for scalability and performance (latency, load time).
Use cloud tools (AWS, GCP, or local alternatives) for training, deployment, and model versioning.
Document model architecture, training process, and versioning for reproducibility.
Requirements:
Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
Proficiency in Python and libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, matplotlib, TensorFlow or PyTorch Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
Experience with training and testing ML/DL models.
Familiarity with version control (Git), APIs, and working with JSON or REST endpoints.
Basic knowledge of model deployment using Flask, FastAPI, or Streamlit.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Computer Vision (OpenCV, Face++ API, etc.)
NLP skills (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers)
Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, or pipelines.
Experience integrating models into web products or mobile apps.
Knowledge of Supabase, Firebase, or backend-as-a-service tools.
Familiarity with Edge Functions and serverless model deployment.
